Is Your Conscious Mind Working Against You?

You understand your patterns. You've read the books, you've talked it through — and yet something still doesn't shift.

That's because some beliefs don't live in logic. They live deeper — in the part of your mind that formed before you had the words to question it.

You may be experiencing:

5-1.png

The knowing-doing gap
You know what you should think or feel, but you can't make yourself actually believe it.

5-2.png

Persistent emotional loops
Anxiety, low self-worth, or fear that returns no matter how much conscious work you do.

5-3.png

A body that holds what the mind can't release
Tension, sleeplessness, compulsive habits — signals that something unresolved is running in the background.

5-4.png

Blocks you can't logic your way out of
A sense that something underneath is quietly sabotaging your progress.

Hypnotherapy — Working at the Level Where Change Actually Sticks

At Staying Sane 101, we use clinical hypnotherapy to work at the subconscious level — where your core beliefs about safety, self-worth, and identity are stored.

Hypnotherapy is not what you've seen on stage or television. It is a clinically guided state of deep relaxation and focused attention — one in which the critical, analytical mind quiets enough for new patterns to take root.

Our Philosophy
We believe that lasting change isn't always achieved through insight alone. Some of what shapes us was learned before we could speak, and stored in a place that reasoning cannot reach. Hypnotherapy gives us direct access to that place — not to override who you are, but to update what no longer serves you.

A Grounded, Evidence-Informed Approach
Our hypnotherapist integrates clinical techniques with an understanding of how the subconscious shapes behavior, habit, and emotional response. Sessions are structured, purposeful, and always led by your goals — not guesswork.

Key Pillars of Our Approach:

5-5.png

Subconscious Belief Work
We identify the core narratives — about safety, worth, and capability — that were formed early and have quietly run the show ever since.

5-6.png

Pattern Interruption
We use guided hypnotic techniques to interrupt ingrained emotional and behavioral loops at their root, rather than managing symptoms at the surface.

Rewriting the Internal Script
We help you install new, aligned beliefs — so that confidence, calm, and clarity feel less like something you perform and more like something you simply are.

Muxin 沐心
Hypnotherapist for Anxiety, Sleep & Self-Worth

Muxin is a registered member of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), working at the level of the subconscious — where beliefs about trust, self-worth, and relationships are most deeply held. She works with clients who have done the conscious work and still feel stuck.

Whether you're navigating the aftermath of infidelity, a fractured sense of self, or habits and fears you can't seem to outgrow, Muxin creates a calm, structured space to access and gently reshape what's underneath. Her approach is grounded, non-theatrical, and always guided by what you want your life to feel like on the other side.

Why Clients Trust Us

"Working with Nachum has been a turning point for me. Before our sessions, my thoughts felt like they were constantly spiralling — overthinking every conversation, doubting my decisions, and overthinking is tiring!

He was able to help me see the patterns in my thinking and gave me clear, structured ways to challenge them without making me feel judged or “broken.”

Simone Wong

"Jessy has a gentle and compassionate way of listening that makes you feel truly seen and understood. At the same time, she has an incredible ability to ask the right questions that help you uncover patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships that you might not have noticed on your own."

Nicole Yang

"Working with Jessy has been one of the most meaningful investments I’ve made in myself. She has a calm, reassuring presence that makes it easier to talk about difficult experiences and emotions.

Jessy helped me recognize patterns in my relationships and understand the deeper needs behind my reactions. Her insights are thoughtful and practical, and she guides you in a way that helps you feel empowered rather than dependent."

Lola

"I started seeing Nachum during a period when I felt so stuck in my life. I was constantly replaying situations in my head, second-guessing myself, and feeling overwhelmed by decisions both at work and in my personal life.

Nachum has the ability to cut through the noise and help you see the bigger pattern behind your thoughts and reactions. He has a very clear and structured way of working that makes complex emotions easier to understand."

FAQs

Q: Will I lose control or be made to do things against my will?
A: No. Clinical hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. You remain aware and in control throughout — the hypnotic state is simply a heightened form of focused relaxation, similar to being absorbed in a film or deep in thought. You cannot be made to say or do anything you don't choose to.

Q: What does being hypnotized actually feel like?

A: Most clients describe it as deeply relaxed but mentally alert — not asleep, not unconscious. You will likely remember everything. The experience is calm, safe, and guided entirely by Muxin.

Q: What issues can hypnotherapy help with

A: Hypnotherapy is particularly effective for anxiety, low self-esteem, confidence blocks, phobias, habit change, sleep difficulties, and processing emotional experiences that haven't responded to talk therapy alone.

Q: Do I have to believe in it for it to work?

A: Skepticism is normal and welcome. You do need to be willing to engage with the process — but you don't need to believe in advance. Many clients are surprised by how natural and straightforward it feels.

Q: What issues can hypnotherapy help with

A: Hypnotherapy is particularly effective for anxiety, low self-esteem, confidence blocks, phobias, habit change, sleep difficulties, and processing emotional experiences that haven't responded to talk therapy alone.

Q: How long does a session last?

A: Sessions typically run 60 to 90 minutes.

Q: How much does a session cost?
A: Sessions with our therapists cost $250/hour.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: This varies by goal. Some clients notice meaningful shifts within 3–6 sessions. Others working on deeper patterns may benefit from longer-term support. Muxin will give you a realistic sense of the timeline after your intake.

Q: Is my information kept confidential?

A: Yes. We maintain a strict legal and ethical duty to protect your privacy. Beyond that, EMDR is a collaborative process where you remain in full control. We prioritize your emotional safety, ensuring that you only share what you feel ready to process, while maintaining a secure clinical record accessible only to your therapeutic team.

Ready to Work at a Deeper Level?

Some things don't shift through effort alone. If you're ready to access the part of your mind where real change begins, we're here to guide you — safely, professionally, and at your pace.
